CLASS~Beginning Knitting~Tuesdays, Mar 16, 23, & 30, 6-8pm Learn to knit, purl, check gauge, and read your knitting! Create a series of three washcloths, or a sampler scarf, each with increasingly complex designs incorporating knit and purl patterns, eyelets and lace, increasing and decreasing, and cables.

CLASS~Beginning Socks, Thursdays, March 18, 25, & April 1, 6:30-8:30pm Learn to knit socks! This class teaches both the magic loop and two circulars methods. You will learn short rows, heel flaps, and details about the architecture of socks and why hand-knit socks fit your feet better!

Class~Fiber & Yarn Dyeing Workshop~Sat. April 10, 1-4pm Roll your sleeves up and play with color! Learn safe and effective methods to dye yarn, roving and even your very own Ty-Dyed tee shirt! You'll learn the steps necessary for successful color saturation and create your unique version of hand dyed yarn.
Broomstick lace goes fast and creates a unique look. This piece is worked from the shoulder seams down, allowing for a custom fit as you go! Some experience with crochet or knitting is required. Instructor: Samantha

CLASS~Knitting Tips & Tricks for the Intermediate Knitter, 3 Months For intermediate knitters to meet monthly and work on individual projects, learn new knitting skills, and gain knowledge from Inger's vast knitting experience. Skills may include: buttonholes, cables, shaping, etc. $45 fee covers the first three months: March 11, April 15, and May 13. Thusdays, 6-8pm.

CLASS~Spinning Workshop, March 27 (Saturday) from 10am-2:30pm Enjoy the process as you learn to spin on a drop spindle and then a spinning wheel. Fiber preparation, content and technique will be offered as you begin the journey into the increasingly popular world of spinning. FIBER and DROP SPINDLE are included in the class fee, as well as use of a wheel.
These cute chicks have a personality all their own! Make one or an entire quartet just in time for Easter.
If you are new to needle felting, this is a great introduction to felting. And if you are a seasoned needle felter, then this will be an all out fun and easy class for you.

CLASS~Sugar Maple Shawl, NEW start date! Tuesdays, March 16, 30, & April 13 6-8 pm This is a perfect intro to lace as this shawl is worked using BIG yarn! No tiny strands to worry about. You'll begin with the central section which consists of a basic lace pattern. Then you'll finish off by picking up and knitting an outer ruffle.
It can be knit in chunky weight, doubled worsted weight, or worsted weight alone for a lighter effect. Just a perfect ruffled wrap for our ongoing chilly weather!

The four session class will be plenty of time for Belva to guide you through this intermediate project from start to finish.
In this class you will master pattern interpretation, obtaining gauge, shaping: incresing & decreasing, and some finishing techniques.
